FARM DEVELOPMENT
Waipapa Station and Otanepae Station were amalgamated in 2010.
Over the past 12 months Waipapa station has continued development through upgraded subdivision, water reticulation and a cropping and regrassing programme. Intensification has focused on increasing current stock performance and incorporating dairy support for the dairy units. Part of the Otanepae block and Otaketake blocks are located inside the Lake Taupo Catchment. These areas are managed under a Nitrogen Management Plan as part of the Lake Taupo protection programme.
